Simon Johnson

Biography

Simon Johnson was called to the Bar in 2000 and practices at Enterprise Chambers. He specialises in professional negligence and coverage actions in the Business & Property Courts, acting for claimants and defendants, often in group actions involving fraud or dishonesty. Simon's victory in the Court of Appeal in Morris v. Williams & Co (April 2024) is a recent highlight: he established that it is appropriate to use a single claim form in group actions alleging professional negligence against solicitors. Simon also practices in commercial law, company law and insolvency and has been ranked by the directories as a leader in his specialisms for many years.
