Biography

With over 22 years of expertise in the financial services sector, Brendon is a highly regarded authority in financial services remediation. Known for his unique ability to span both the legal and operational design frameworks to design and implement successful remediation and redress schemes, Brendon is the go-to specialist sought after by financial institutions to develop simple, scalable solutions for even the most complex remediation challenges.
Brendon has led numerous large-scale remediation projects and redress schemes for global financial institutions. His work spans a wide range of regulatory reviews including the mis-selling of derivative products, application of complex fees structures and equity products to small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers, vires of corporate loan sales made to registered charities, and conduct related remediation schemes.

In addition to his work in financial services remediation, Brendon advises on financial services disputes involving professional negligence, complex corporate finance structures, and restructuring and insolvency matters for investment banks, clearing banks, specialist lenders and multinational corporations. Brendon has a depth of experience in turnaround and restructuring, cultivated in his time as an international financier managing multibillion distressed asset portfolios across Europe and Asia-Pacific.
