David Kwok

Biography

David is a Senior Managing Associate in Dentons’ Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group in Hong Kong.

David’s practice is focused on professional negligence, insolvency and regulation and has advised and represented a broad spectrum of auditors, solicitors and insurers in professional negligence and regulatory matters. He has also represented liquidators, companies and creditors in insolvency related investigations and proceedings. David previously worked in a specialist liquidation firm in Hong Kong and has first hand knowledge on the investigations carried out in liquidation, insolvency and professional negligence related matters.

David also previously worked for the Financial Reporting Council (now the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council) in Hong Kong and has first hand knowledge of the conduct of regulatory investigations, particularly in relation to accountants and auditors, in addition to having previously advised clients on regulatory investigations and enquiries as part of his practice.

David has also been involved in a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes including advising and representing clients on cryptocurrency related matters, probate matters, contractual disputes, shareholder and joint venture disputes and fraud in Hong Kong and overseas.

David is a frequent speaker on insolvency and professional negligence related topics.
