Biography

David is an expert in tax-related professional negligence claims. He was the lead partner representing 300 investors in a landmark £200 million group action involving a number of substantial professional negligence claims against financial advisors. The case is publicly known as the “Ingenious Litigation”, which continues as one of the largest and far reaching commercial tax and professional negligence claims before the Courts today. The case was listed for a 6 month trial and was selected by The Lawyer magazine as one of the Top 20 cases of 2022.
David is editor of The Tax Disputes and Litigation Review, and is recognised in Chambers and Legal 500 as an “absolutely superb” lawyer with “outstanding commercial intuition.”
