Biography

Solicitor with more than 20 years of experience of commercial and corporate disputes. Currently leading the firm's Dispute Resolution Midlands teams in Worcester, Birmingham, Wye Valley and Hereford.

Wealth of experience of alternative dispute resolution to include, mediation, expert determination, early neutral evaluation as well as advising on complex dispute resolution escalation procedures in commercial contracts.

Specialties: With extensive experience of disputes in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, Elizabeth advises businesses, in-house lawyers and individuals in all areas of civil and commercial disputes, to include professional negligence (claimants), applications for injunctions, director and shareholder disputes, warranty claims, commercial contract disputes, IT disputes, unlawful termination claims, breach of confidence claims, partnership disputes, enforcement of restrictive covenants, franchise disputes, sale of goods and supply of services and misrepresentation.

Elizabeth was appointed as a Deputy District Judge on the Midland Circuit in 2015. Since June 2022 she is a specialist Business & Property Courts Deputy District Judge in the Birmingham District Registry.

Elizabeth provides realistic, commercial, no-nonsense assessments of disputes and the available options, and advises on the likely costs and timescales for each stage of a dispute to ensure that her clients are able to make informed decisions, and surprises are kept to a minimum.
