Biography

Julia is a seasoned litigator specialising in real estate disputes. She has particular experience in commercial real estate, including development and investment disputes, especially those concerning trophy assets and valuable portfolios. She also acts for high net worth individuals in their personal property disputes. She has significant litigation experience, including lengthy and high-profile trials. Julia also has many years’ experience of other forms of dispute resolution, including negotiation, mediation and early risk identification/mitigation. She is a qualified Solicitor Advocate with rights of audience in the higher courts.

She is able to steer even the trickiest and most complex litigation in the right strategic direction. She is tenacious and has a knack of getting to the heart of the issue. She will always work hard to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients, while keeping costs in check.

Julia has a particular interest in development disputes and is regularly consulted by Real Estate colleagues on aspects which have the potential to complicate developments. She also handles contractual or tortious disputes where property is the underlying asset, such as professional negligence claims or purchase disputes.
