Duncan is a leading practitioner in the field of professional negligence and acts for claimants and defendants in claims against legal, financial and property professionals. His work includes claims against solicitors, barristers, surveyors, architects, accountants, financial advisors, brokers and other professions. Subject matter includes negligence, breach of contract, breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duty and associated issues. Clients range from individuals, to SMEs, to large multinational companies. He has particular experience and expertise of cases where there are issues or disputes as to the availability and scope of professional indemnity insurance cover for claims.

Duncan heads up the Dispute Management Department in Freeths' Oxford office. Duncan has over 25 years litigation experience, handling complex and high value disputes, mainly in the High Court in London.
