Russell Evans

Biography

Russell Evans is a Director and former President of the Hampshire Law Society. He is also Chairman of its Litigation & Dispute Resolution Committee. Russell lectures on mediation for the Law Society, RICS & CISI and has judged the Finals of both the UK as well as International Mediation and Arbitration Competitions. He has more than 25 years professional negligence litigation and mediation experience in relation to claims against solicitors, barristers, surveyors, valuers, insurance brokers, accountants, financial advisers, banks, engineers, architects and trustees.

As a solicitor Russell was Head of Professional Indemnity and Risk Management. He has a unique insight into professional negligence as he has acted on behalf of both Claimants & Defendants and also chaired professional standards committees. Russell is a highly experienced Mediator and Arbitrator and indeed is Head of a national Ministry of Justice approved mediation panel.

Russell is available to conduct Mediations throughout the UK as a neutral diplomatic intermediary with a view to assisting parties to resolve disputes.
